Professor Richard Dawson is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and Director of Research in the School of Engineering at Newcastle University.
Richard’s research focuses on understanding climate and environmental risks to cities and infrastructure. He is a member of the UK’s Committee on Climate Change and a Lead Author of the Cities, Settlements and Infrastructure Chapter of the most recent IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) Assessment.
