Wei is a Research Associate in Climate Resilience of Infrastructure Systems at the Cambridge Centre for Sustainable Development.
She has an educational background in civil engineering and management science. In collaboration with Transport for London, her PhD research focused on network modelling for flood resilience assessment and recovery optimisation of urban rail transit systems. Her academic goal is to bridge resilience principles, cutting-edge modelling and optimisation techniques, and data science to produce scientific evidence and practical solutions that support infrastructure operators and policy makers in diagnosing system vulnerabilities, managing disaster risks, and adapting to climate change.
