Poster and Flash Talk Competitions:

This year’s conference will feature two presentation competitions:

  • Poster Competition – The poster competition is open to all conference attendees. There is no limit on the number of participants, although each individual may present only one poster. Attendees can express their interest in taking part when registering for the conference. (First Prize £125; Second Prize £75; Third Prize £50)
  • Flash Talk Competition – The flash talk competition – showcasing research from the DARe Hub – is open exclusively to researchers affiliated with the DARe Hub or a DARe Flex Funded project. The number of flash talks will be limited to fit within the conference programme. Eligible, registered attendees will be contacted directly to confirm their interest in participating. (Certificates will be presented to the top three Flash Talks.)

Researchers affiliated with the DARe Hub or a DARe Flex Funded project are welcome to enter both competitions, provided that the poster and flash talk present distinct pieces of work. Posters entered into the 2025 DARe Researcher Conference cannot be re-entered.

All posters and flash talk presentations should be related to transport, and decarbonisation, climate adaptation and/or resilience.

Both competitions will be judged separately.
