The DARe Hub launched its first Flexible Fund call in July 2024, presenting an exciting opportunity for researchers working the fields of transport, net zero and decarbonisation, climate resilience, and other complementary subjects and sectors.

The initiative – representing the first of three calls – is inviting the UK academic community to submit proposals to tackle one of three topic areas:

  • The Impact of Disruption on Business Models
  • The Gamification of Climate Resilience and Mitigation
  • Resilience and Adaptation Transferability Across Critical Infrastructures

The call began on 15th July and will remain open for submissions until 20th September. Successful proposals will receive up to £50,000 in funding.

“We’re really looking forward to receiving proposals from the talented pool of researchers in UK academic institutions. The research projects receiving Flex Funding will help inform the Hub’s core programme, and ultimately play an important role in helping identify viable pathways towards a net zero, resilient, and climate-adaptive transport system.”
