DARe announces the winners of its second Flex Fund competition

The DARe Hub is pleased to announce the successful projects from its second Flexible Funding competition, which closed on 6 May 2025.

The round attracted many high-quality submissions across three targeted research topics, reflecting the UK’s growing commitment to building a transport system that is both climate-resilient and aligned with net-zero goals.

This funding round placed a strong emphasis on understanding and exploring the economic dimensions of decarbonised and climate-resilient transport infrastructure. Our team are excited to begin working with the newly funded project teams to incorporate their expertise and research into DARe’s programme. These collaborations not only advance the Hub’s mission but also help expand its academic network, bringing together a diverse community of researchers, institutions, and stakeholders.
